Level/Depth Indicator
Bay Shore Systems exclusive “STANDpoint” level and depth system was derived from the pile driving industry. Finally there is a reliable system that can take the abuse created by the foundation industry. Highly resistant to weather and moisture, this CANbus system can be installed to any LōDril (old or new) or the HīDril.
Disconnect Options
Need to take your LōDril off your excavator? We offer three different options. Whether you need to remove the attachment for transportation purposes or if you want to be able to use the base excavator as an excavator again, we have you covered.
Service Winch
No LōDril, RK-12X, HīDril or AERA would be complete without a Pullmaster service winch. This state-of-the-art and reliable winch is essential for the convenient handling of all your drilling tools.
Joystick Controls
Comfortable, easy-to-use joystick controls replace the excavator joysticks to control drilling functions. With the installation of any LōDril, RK-12X, HīDril and AERA we don’t add any hydraulics to the cab or modify any of the hydraulics in the cab. Imagine, after 10 years of operation the cab will still be leak free.
Kelly Bars
Let’s face it. A kelly bar is ultimately a consumable item. Selecting the best kelly material and configuration for your applications will optimize the life of your kelly bars. You can get square bars in three grades of material. The standard material is an A500 material (50 ksi or 345 MPa), but you can upgrade to either A500 Select material (70 ksi or 480 MPa) or T1 (100 ksi or 690 MPa). You can even choose to make some elements from one kind of material and others from another. One thing is for sure, the inner kelly element is always made from solid, heat-treated 4140.
Your square kelly bars can also be made with lock slots. These lock slots allow you to install high strength pins between the elements so they can’t slip when you encounter hard soils and rock. Please remember that when drilling harder material the tool is key and when appropriate tooling is used, the need to lock the kelly bars can be greatly reduced and often eliminated.
Regardless of the kelly bars you use, proper tooling is critical for optimized production and minimal wear and tear to your drill rig. Different conditions, in combination with different kelly bar sets require specific tooling. See our Drilling Tools section to learn more or speak to your salesperson about making your drill as productive as possible.
Overhead Powerline Detector
If you do any amount of drilling under or around energized electrical lines you should have our Overhead Powerline Detector. The control box and alarm will alert the operator and others working around the machine when the drill gets too close to live powerlines. Consider this cheap insurance.
