Level/Depth Indicator
Bay Shore Systems exclusive “STANDpoint” level and depth system was derived from the pile driving industry. Finally there is a reliable system that can take the abuse created by the foundation industry. Highly resistant to weather and moisture, this CANbus system can be installed to any LōDril (old or new) or the HīDril.Disconnect Options
Need to take your LōDril off your excavator? We offer three different options. Whether you need to remove the attachment for transportation purposes or if you want to be able to use the base excavator as an excavator again, we have you covered.Service Winch
No LōDril, RK-12X, HīDril or AERA would be complete without a Pullmaster service winch. This state-of-the-art and reliable winch is essential for the convenient handling of all your drilling tools.Joystick Controls
Comfortable, easy-to-use joystick controls replace the excavator joysticks to control drilling functions. With the installation of any LōDril, RK-12X, HīDril and AERA we don’t add any hydraulics to the cab or modify any of the hydraulics in the cab. Imagine, after 10 years of operation the cab will still be leak free.Kelly Bars
Let’s face it. A kelly bar is ultimately a consumable item. Selecting the best kelly material and configuration for your applications will optimize the life of your kelly bars. You can get square bars in three grades of material. The standard material is an A500 material (50 ksi or 345 MPa), but you can upgrade to either A500 Select material (70 ksi or 480 MPa) or T1 (100 ksi or 690 MPa). You can even choose to make some elements from one kind of material and others from another. One thing is for sure, the inner kelly element is always made from solid, heat-treated 4140. Your square kelly bars can also be made with lock slots. These lock slots allow you to install high strength pins between the elements so they can’t slip when you encounter hard soils and rock. Please remember that when drilling harder material the tool is key and when appropriate tooling is used, the need to lock the kelly bars can be greatly reduced and often eliminated. Regardless of the kelly bars you use, proper tooling is critical for optimized production and minimal wear and tear to your drill rig. Different conditions, in combination with different kelly bar sets require specific tooling. See our Drilling Tools section to learn more or speak to your salesperson about making your drill as productive as possible.Overhead Powerline Detector
If you do any amount of drilling under or around energized electrical lines you should have our Overhead Powerline Detector. The control box and alarm will alert the operator and others working around the machine when the drill gets too close to live powerlines. Consider this cheap insurance.Products »

ADS
Drilling rock requires appropriate tooling. Did you know that the conventional bullet tooth is only rated for a maximum of 12,000 PSI (82 MPa) material? When you have moderate rock or hard rock you need to look away from the conventional methods of drilling. Percussion is the most productive way to drill rock. Bay Shore Systems is proud to introduce the ADS (Air Delivery System). The ADS allows you to get high volume air down to the large diameter hammers ideal for breaking rock. No more drill steel splices, no more two rotations forward and two reverse. The ADS is a self-contained system that will add a new level of capability to your drill. Leave the augers in the dust and see what the ADS can do for you.

Whether you need to fit your foundation drill into a tight spot, reach over walls or casings, drill on rough or sloping terrain, these adaptable products will suit your drilling needs. Bay Shore Systems has been on the leading edge of technology in the foundation drilling industry for years. Many drilling contractors depend on us to provide powerful and versatile drilling equipment that enable them to reach difficult or limited access drill locations. We believe that, by giving our customers this extra advantage, it allows them to become the most successful contractors in the industry. Our most popular product is the LōDril®, a high performance drilling attachment which will turn your excavator into one of the most versatile and profitable machines in your fleet. There are six different sizes in the LōDril product line with depths ranging up to 100 feet and attachments as low as 7 feet in height. Models vary in running torque from an efficient 10,000 ft.-lbs. to an unstoppable 60,000 ft.-lbs. Utilizing our multi-scoped Kelly bar sets, the LōDril works efficiently in the most restrictive environments, while providing drilling capabilities from 12-inches to 12-feet in diameter. Optional accessories include level/depth indicator, (for precise positioning, depth monitoring), and a service winch. Bay Shore Systems Inc. also produces the HōDril, AT-LAD, and an RK-12X, all of which feature Bay Shore's unique limited access capabilities in a wide variety of configurations.
About Us
Mission Statement: “To improve the way that holes are drilled in the construction industry and make our customers the most successful contractors in the industry.”
Since 1978, Bay Shore Systems has specialized in drilling equipment for a wide range of drilling applications. The foundation drilling industry is an aggressive, competitive, challenging industry and Bay Shore Systems has always been on the leading edge with innovative products and technology. We provide powerful and versatile drilling equipment that enables our customers to reach difficult or limited access drilling locations, often in extremely adverse situations. Our customers need to solve problems fast, and we are in the business of helping them make that happen.
For today’s construction and excavation projects and processes, it’s not enough to design and manufacture products for the “average” situation. The result is a company continually researching and developing equipment and processes—finding new ways to get things done, and ways to get new things done. We believe that by giving our customers this extra advantage, it allows them to become the most successful contractors in the industry.
