What do you look for in a drill rig besides reach, torque and maneuverability? How about adjustable width and height, ease of transport, and drilling depths from 30 to 80 feet? That’s what the TR40-30/50 can give you.
The compact TR40 can be configured in several mast and kelly bar formats allowing you to use it for a variety of headroom conditions and drilling depths. With mast height from 12’11” to 18’5” and drilling depths from 30 to 80 feet (9 to 24 meters), the TR40 provides high performance drilling capabilities to meet your specific job requirements.
Weighing in at less than 60,000 pounds but with twice as much torque of earlier models at 40,000 ft-lbs., this drill rig is designed to be mounted on 15 to 35 ton excavators as narrow as 8’6” for easy one-load transport which means no permits and no curfew.
“I purchased my first TR40 last year. I just bought a second one, the first compact TR40. The machine is so awesome. It’s easy to use, powerful and built to last. Whether I’m working on bridges, foundations, high rises, or utility work, this rig is up for the job,” according to Jose Vargas of Vargas General Engineering, LLC.
The first TR Series drill rig was manufactured in 2010. Just seven years later, nine models have been developed but through product development, those have merged down to six. Each model is designed to address a unique drilling situation.
