Rigs in action: Xcel Energy and the LōDril stay cool at “hot” substation

In Littleton, Colorado, Xcel Energy put a 3-year old DH20-45 LōDril to work at a 115Kv “hot”
substation this month. The task was to drill two 15-foot holes at 36-inch diameters. The DH20 was
up to the challenge, offering the flexibility and reach of an excavator-mounted drilling system plus the
power and low clearance advantages to get this job done right.
