It's All About the People

Bay Shore Systems has been named as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in the Inland Northwest. What makes Bay Shore a great workplace? A culture of trust and engagement that unites management and the workforce in a common vision that’s not only about success but that describes the type of organization an employer wants to be.

The leaders at Bay Shore are committed to the time and attention needed to build and maintain a great culture that never ends. It means taking a long-term view that can conflict with short-term business results and maintaining a style of communication that is frequent, authentic and deep.

The company builds people and doesn’t just look for technicians or skilled laborers. We continuously train our people to help them do their jobs successfully and learn business skills. Every employee is taught how to read and use financial reports and real financial data is shared at weekly huddles.

Bay Shore’s vision is “To create a business of business people.” Engaging team members to become business people helps promote the bottom line. But it’s not just about the bottom line. People stay at Bay Shore because it provides challenging work, a respectful environment and life-long career opportunities.

By investing in employees who are invested in the business, Bay Shore has been able to continuously grow over the last 40 years and will thrive over the next 100+.
